"Angiotensin Type-1 Receptor Inhibition Reduces NLRP3 Inflammasome Upregulation Induced by Aging and Neurodegeneration in the Substantia Nigra of Male Rodents and Primary Mesencephalic Cultures.A proinflammatory state is observed in most tissues during aging (inflammaging), and facilitates development of aging-related chronic diseases [1,2]."
reach
"To dissect the precise mechanism of adipolin-mediated attenuation of inflammasome activation, human renal proximal tubular epithelial cell line, HK-2 cells were pretreated with recombinant adipolin protein or vehicle, followed by stimulation with angiotensin (Ang) II. Pretreatment of HK-2 cells with adipolin significantly decreased Ang II-stimulated mRNA expression of inflammasome-related genes, including NLRP3, Caspase 1, IL1β, and IL18 (Figure 4A)."
reach
"The high levels of dopamine, ranging from 1 to 10 μM, in vivo binding to low-affinity dopamine receptors (DRD1 and DRD2) on microglia could exert anti-inflammatory effects by modulating the proinflammatory renin–angiotensin system [108, 109], and DRD1 could mediate the autophagic degradation of NLRP3 protein."
