"This study found that USP25 is involved in regulating the ubiquitination of P62, promoting the degradation of TAK1 in cardiomyocytes through the autophagy-lysosome pathway, improving TAK1/MAPK-mediated myocardial inflammation, and finally alleviating obesity-induced ventricular remodeling and cardiac insufficiency.TRANSLATIONAL OUTLOOK: Our data indicated that USP25 can inhibit myocardial inflammation, which is an important mechanism for the development of OCM, and USP25 was found to function through the TAK1/MAPK axis."
