"Considering that TGFBR1 may be involved in the USP33-mediated SMAD signaling, we performed the western-blotting assay and found that USP33 knockdown decreased the expression of TGFb targeted molecules like PAI-1 and VEGF but didn’t alternate the expression of TGFBR1 (Fig. S1A, B)."
