"The NOD-like protein, NLRX1 and the globular domain of complement 1q receptor (gc1qR) interact with components of oxidative phosphorylation and increase ROS production (Tattoli et al. 2008; Saha et al. 2013) whereas the cytochrome c oxidase complex subunit COX5B, coordinates with the autophagy pathway through autophagy-related gene 5 (ATG5), to suppress MAVS signaling and decrease ROSproduction (Zhao et al. 2012)."
